Ma chere Mademoiselle, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome Shorty to Jacksonville. And now we invite him to relax, pull up a chair and chill as the Evans' proudly presents - his vacation! Be our guest! Be our guest! 
Put our service to the test... (man, tell ya what.. Shorty sure didn't hesitate on that offer.. I'm spent...) Month after month of anticipation Shorty 'FINALLY' arrived on the East Coast. Yes Shorty.. you were actually here. After catching up on the happenings of our lives in less time then it took to drive home from the airport (boy we sure have some excitement filled lives I tell ya) the true enjoyment of having my BFF and Xaine's Bestest Godfather on the East Coast began. Showing Shorty just a few of the things Northern Florida has to offer, we filled our warm/sunny days with Town Center Shopping, St. Augustine Castillo de San Marcos single Cannon salutes, strolls along St. George street sampling the best Beer and Onion Rings around (Spotted D**K for Desert another time Buddy?), MOSH (Museum 
of Science and History) exploration, and of course.. The BEACH... (so when you moving here?). As the sky darkened and Orion's belt came into view each night we let no time go to waste. We filled our bellies with a variety of cuisine; Steak/Chicken/Shrimp Kabobs, Grilled Salmon, Crab Shack specialties and Jacksonville's finest SUSHI (How is everything? How is everything? How is everything?) , a 'FEW' libations (bottles of Fetzer Gewurztraminer, Disaronno Amaretto sours...), seeing more 'WatchMen' then ever expected/desired (cover those eyes) and plenty o
f LAUGHS. A very relaxing 5 days and 5 nights sure flew by in a flash. Amazing how after such a long standing friendship we are still able to create so many NEW memories in such a short time. Crank up that Lil Kim Shorty.. and until we see one another again (or you move to JAX).... Remember there is ALWAYS room for you here....................Oh, Look.... an ATM .......... We Love ya Uncle Shorty....!!!!!!

Oh..and did you ever find out what that particular desert was? Spotted ****? If so..I would love to hear it!

hehe.. I miss my boys already!.. i cant wait to visit again in October.. I still want to visit during the summer months before i consider moving there.. ooh did i tell ya my face crusted over as soon as i got home - sunburn... i swear my face felt like leather!!! and we werent even in the sun that much.. haha....
we will have to go back and actually try the spotted D**k desert... cant pass that up for sure.. haha...
Whoa!! Sounds like you guys had way to much FUN!! When are you coming to HB? We would love to spend some time with you. We have great beaches here also, as you well know. Maybe we will have to check out the beaches on the East C
Coast!!
